Product information about unapproved medicines cannot lawfully be shown to the public in Australia. This page explains what we hold, who can see it, and how verification works.
Why the gate exists
The legal position.
Every medicinal cannabis product Alma supplies is an unapproved therapeutic good containing a Schedule 4 or Schedule 8 substance.
Under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth), products that are not entered on the ARTG, and products containing those scheduled substances, must not be advertised to the public. That covers product names, cultivar names, cannabinoid content, formats, pack sizes, prices, photographs and anything that reads as promotion — whether or not a product is named.
The Act does permit that information to be given to health professionals. It is an all‑or‑nothing exemption: if the material can be reached by anyone else, the exemption is lost. So the gate is real, the verification is real, and there is no public preview of the catalogue.

Verification
How verification works.
You tell us who you are
Name, profession, AHPRA registration number, practice or pharmacy, work email.
We check the register
We match your number against the AHPRA public register and confirm the registration is current and unrestricted for the relevant profession. We record who checked and when.
Credentials issued
An individual login goes to your work email. Credentials are personal — not shared across a practice or a dispensary.
Reviewed periodically
Access is re‑confirmed on a regular cycle and withdrawn if a registration lapses.
Request access
Available to health professionals listed in section 42AA of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth) and to purchasing officers acting for them.
